“WomenR” is a project run by Felicia Day
Streaming platform, Twitch, is launching a new show showcasing women working from different sectors of the entertainment industry. The series will focus on their struggles and experiences in this business.
The series is called “WomenR” and it aims at inspiring more women to embark on careers which are traditionally male-dominated professions. The project is run by actress Felicia Day who is also hosting the show. Each guest will talk about her professional life and the problems she has encountered in the industry.
The guests will vary from game creators, designers and voice-over actresses. The first episode aired a couple of days ago and it focuses on women pro-streamers. According to Felicia Day, there will be 8 episodes of “WomenR” this season.
